MISSION
Training law students with practice capability
At SNUPLC, law students have the opportunity to work in professional setting with real world clients and cases. Students apply their legal knowledge to cases and learn how to solve problem like legal professionals.
Training law students to care about the public interest
SNUPLC organizes legal pro bono projects and field placements programs. Students benefit from practical education in the public sector, with a particular emphasis on the importance of civic values, ethics and professional responsibility.
Local community support
SNUPLC provides free legal aid to local communities and the SNU community. Also, SNUPLC proposes legislative policies to fulfill the social responsibility of law school.
Public interest career advising
To help students explore careers in public interest law, SNUPLC provides networking opportunities with public interest lawyers, as well as training programs, internships, and fellowships.

SNUPLC was newly established in May 2019. As an institution within SNU Law, SNUPLC is responsible for providing clinical legal education, supporting pro bono activities, and guiding students in the development of public interest law careers. It also coordinates legal aid services for the local community as part of its broader public service mission.
