Public Interest Career

SNUPLC operates a public interest legal career program to support law students in pursuing careers in public interest law. The Center facilitates networking opportunities with senior legal professionals working in the public interest sector and provides guidance and mentorship for students exploring public interest career paths.

Public Interest TA

We select public interest TAs among law school students and provide them with opportunities to actively participate in legal aid cases and pro bono activities conducted by the Center. In this way, SNUPLC helps participating student shape and develop their public interest career path.

“When you take classes at a law school that mainly consists of one-sided lecture-style classes, you will always have a thirst for practical work.”

“I wholeheartedly believe that the being a public interest TA is an amazing way to not only meet clients and provide legal consultations but also directly write documents and opinions for actual cases.”
